Music with Mr Jones

All children love their sessions with Mr Jones.
Mr Jones has set us a challenge to help him write a song about Coronavirus and how it is impacting our lives at the moment. It will be a song of hope for the future.  Please comment on his school blog post in response to his video request for help with this.

Activity 1

Just like on our normal Friday afternoons we will end this week with MUSIC with the one and only MR JONES!

Mr Jones has recorded some video for you.

You could get your whole household involved if you like?

Start with the warm up video.

Now sing a long and learn Boys and Girl.

Finally, Mr Jones wants help and ideas writing a song! Watch this and write down some ideas for the song.

Hello Year 3 & 4!

This week in music we will learn about a different musical instrument, looking at what materials it is made of and the different sounds it can make. We will also learn a body beat to go with our Materials Rap.

Your tasks this week are:

1) Learn the body beat that goes with the Materials Rap

2) List all the different materials you think this week's instrument is made of

3) List some words that describe the sound of this week's instrument (be creative with your use of descriptive words!)
