Week commencing 4th May

All the activities this week are linked to 'The Little Red Hen' and will support children's understanding and motivation to learn the book.

Activity 1

Make red hens using hand print technique. Your hand could be the hen and your child's hand the little chicks. If you don’t have paint for the handprints, use the recipe from last week’s activity 1.

Activity 2

Did you know you can buy wheat in the supermarket? Wouldn’t be fun for your child to grow it like the little red Hen did? If you find difficult to read the small print, download the document.
