Reread the story of Jasper beanstalk. Talk to someone in your family about what happened in the story, and think about what happened on each day.

Activity 3

Imagine you have climbed to the top of the beanstalk. What might you find when you get there? Draw a picture of what you would like to find at the top of the beanstalk and write a sentence to go with your picture.

Activity 4

Have a look at this beanstalk playdough recipe. Which words can you read? Try sounding out as many words as you can. See if you can make your own beanstalk playdough at home.

Activity 5

Think about what Jasper did when he planted his beanstalk. Can you write instructions for planting a bean? You could even have a go at planting your own bean at home and watching it grow.
