Music with Mr Jones

All children love their sessions with Mr Jones.
Mr Jones has set us a challenge to help him write a song about Coronavirus and how it is impacting our lives at the moment. It will be a song of hope for the future.  Please comment on his school blog post in response to his video request for help with this.

Week 1 Activity

This term in music we are learning about different materials and the different sounds they make. Specifically, we are looking at what instruments are made out of and how to describe the sounds they make. You can watch my video below.

Your tasks this week are:

1) Learn the Materials Rap

2) List all the different materials you think my guitar is made of

3) List some words that describe the sound of my guitar (be creative with your use of descriptive words!)

You can leave your answers on the blog!

Week 2 Activity

This week in music we will learn about a different musical instrument, looking at what materials it is made of and the different sounds it can make. We will also learn a body beat to go with our Materials Rap. Watch the video in the link below.
