SEND

Please use this link to find more resources to help with online learning during this time

At St Luke's we do our very best to ensure that children with special educational needs and disabilities have as much access to the curriculum as they possibly can and that they make the progress that they have the capacity to make.

Every child has individual needs.  A child or young person has SEN if they have a learning difficulty or disability which calls for special educational provision to be made for him or her.

Many children and young people who have SEN may have a disability under the Equality Act 2010 - that is '...a physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect on their ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities'. (SEND Code of Practice 2015)

Below are tabs which explain how we organise and head SEND.  Parents are welcome to speak to the Headteacher, Head of School or SENCo for further clarification.
