Activity 1

This week you will become a pirate and write your own pirate story.

You will be writing in first person which means you will refer to yourself as I, myself, me, my.

You have used a story mountain before and you will be using one again to help you plan your story. There is a copy below.

After each activity, read through your work and make any corrections. You are going to start writing one paragraph describing the characters. Use the word bank and list of adjectives to help you and make your writing more interesting. In our class story ‘The Enchanted Forest’ one of the characters was....

Ending.

Well done, you have almost finished your story. Today you will be writing the ending of your story as a pirate. Here you can use connectives such as finally, in the end, after that and lastly.

The princess and prince went back to the cottage in the enchanted forest. They planted more flowers, cleared up the mess left by the evil lion and made the area beautiful again.
