At St Luke's we recognise all children who have learning needs or who require additional support or challenge. Through our provision for able and talented pupils we strive to support in every way possible children who are recognised as having special abilities and talents.
As a school we encourage all pupils to become independent learners and hope that our able and talented pupils will take a lead in achieving this. We also recognise the importance of support from all parents and staff in identifying and developing our able and talented pupils to their full potential.
We recognise and support able and talented children across the curriculum, including those who have a particular ability in the core subjects or talents in foundation subjects. At St Luke's we are very proud of the achievements of our pupils and are pleased to give able and talented pupils a range of opportunities and provide a platform for them to display their exceptional abilities and talents.
